The popularity Corsair enjoys in the PC-cooling market rests almost entirely on the Hydro Series of products which cover nearly every segment of the market from entry to enthusiast-the only thing missing is an expandable option. Let us not forget their fantastic support and exceptional warranties as these have made Corsair one of the go-to brands for almost anything PC related. They are a true market leader when it comes to PC parts and accessories, but great products and market penetration are only the tip of the iceberg. Corsair has products in nearly every conceivable category of the DIY PC market: air coolers, liquid coolers, power supplies, keyboards, mice, fans, cases, and memory. Anyone have any ideas? Or did I really get a bad unit. The only way for PC users to not have heard of Corsair is to have lived under a rock for the last decade. I get that you can't use it in conjunction with other monitoring software but dang is it slow and clunky, plus if you shrink the window the icons go crazy and then if you maximize it again they stay in their crazy places. So, I reseat the cooler and use Antec 7, it's been 3 days and I've tightened the bracket once more, SAME TEMPS! I'm taking this thing back, very unhappy with it, plus the software is HORRIBLE. I put the stock fans back on and, I can't even get 4.5 now!! Shoots past 60c in OCCT, gaming I'm at like 57c BF4. Both had great reviews but ended up horrible! Temps went through the roof. Then I pushed up to 5.1, temps were a little worse but really close to 60c under load so I thought.let's change the fans out! That should help right? I picked up 2 different sets of fans and what a bad mistake. They were OK though, not bad and I surpassed my previous clocks. Install was easy but temps weren't that great (I am almost going to blame the brackets, they kind of bend badly on the FX sockets) at around 40c idle and 55c load 4.8ghz. With my board/ps/ram I know I can go higher so I picked up the H100i. Previously running a Zalman CNPS11X Extrema and getting pretty good temps but hitting my 60c max at around 4.5Ghz on an FX-8320. I have to say, I either got a bunk unit too or I'm super not impressed with my H100i.
